The Digiterre Hedge Fund Regatta is an annual yachting regatta for people who work in or supply the alternative investment industry.
Are there sponsorship opportunities?
From title sponsor to providing gloves for participants, there are a number of sponsorship opportunities available.
With about 100 senior decision makers attending the regatta, it provides an excellent opportunity promote your company to a concentrated and captive audience - please contact us if you are interested in sponsorship for this event.
It's organised by and for people in the alternative investment industry. Although the name suggests only Hedge Funds we welcome anybody who work within or supply services or technology to the industry. If in doubt please contact us. The only exceptions are for professional crew who come part of the charter options.
Absolutely! The feedback from people involved in our past events and the limited places available might mean some will miss out. Please get your registrations in early to avoid disappointment.
For a few but not all! In an industry such as ours we expect a healthy dose of competitive spirit. However, for many the 'apres-sail' is what it's all about. If your idea of sailing is about viewing the action from a luxury motor launch you might consider chartering our 55 foot vessel - see the charter options information page.
Can we participate even though we are not experienced sailors?
Absolutely! The charter options available include professional crew to ensure safe, fun and exciting racing for novices and pro-ams alike. There will be a fully qualified skipper plus one other professional crew person on all boats to ensure the event is enjoyable for crews of all experience levels.
If you would like help with choosing a boat package, please contact us and we will assist you in organising your boat, skipper and complete event.
Do we need to take a whole boat?
No. We are organising a number of mixed team boats suitable for small groups and individuals - see the charter options.
There is a choice of hotels within situated very close to the yacht club and yacht basin - see accommodation page for more details. Of course there is the option of sleeping aboard your boat for added convenience and socialising.
