Our Objectives
Fun, safe and competitive sailing
First and foremost we want to create a fun, safe, and competitive regatta for people who work within the alternative investment industry. We hope that participants remember the event as one of the highlights of their year, and are eager to get involved in next year's regatta.
We aim to provide an exclusive forum that fosters:
- Competitive spirit: meet, greet and beat the competition on the water!
- Team building: yacht racing is one of the best team building environments available
- Great rapport: a fantastic opportunity to build or enhance rapport with clients and partners
- Social interaction: as important as the racing itself and a superb networking opportunity
Raising money for charity
Our secondary objective is to donate money to those less fortunate than ourselves. A percentage of the net proceeds from the regatta will go to charitable organisations. This year's charity is the Teenage Cancer Trust.
